Stochastic Models in Probability and Statistics (SMPS) is an international and peer-reviewed electronic journal in the field of theoretical and applied statistics and probability with an emphasis on reliability. The journal publishes original research articles in the areas of stochastic models in probability and statistics emphasizing their applications in reliability, including but not limited to reliability theory, mathematical methods in reliability, lifetime data analysis, models for ageing and life extension, statistical modeling in reliability, statistical methods in operational research, stochastic models in industrial and systems engineering, optimal modeling in maintenance, quality control and monitoring process, stochastic control, nonparametric methods in lifetime analysis, statistical methods in information theory, ordered data models and their applications, stochastics ordering, survival data analysis, software reliability, data analysis in reliability, copula methods and dependence modelling, big data, and reliability applications.

The language of the Journal is English and it publishes two issues per year.
